Caterpillars' Good Work Assembly
Caterpillars taught us all about Bonfire Night today in their Good Work Assembly:-
On 5 November every year, children in Britain get excited because it is Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes' Night). We light bonfires and enjoy fireworks displays. On top of the fire, there usually is a guy (a homemade model of a man, like a scarecrow).
We do these things because we're remembering when the King of England, James 1st, and the how the Houses of Parliament were nearly blown up with gunpowder by Guy Fawkes.
They also impressed everyone with their super counting, drawing and writing skills. Well done Caterpillars, you were brilliant!
