Welcome to Marshfield Primary School. We are proud to be part of Carlton Academy Trust which comprises of schools from both primary and secondary phases. We endeavour to ensure the Trust’s mission statement of ‘Excellence for all’ through our wonderful curriculum and rich learning experiences.
We are delighted to have been included in this year’s Sunday Times Parent Power 2021 which identifies the 600 highest-achieving primary schools in England. Marshfield was placed 99th out of 20,832 primary schools in the country and the 2nd highest school in Bradford.
Our school is set in a wonderful community serving a fabulously diverse demographic of children, just over a mile from the centre of Bradford. Our children benefit from having inspiring and culturally relevant teaching sequences, taught by teachers who are passionate providing an outstanding primary education. We are delighted to have embedded the ethos of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) to create an enquiry-based approach to learning. Our aim is to provide your child with the experiences, knowledge and academic skills to inspire them to become successful life-long learners. The curriculum at Marshfield Primary is centred around our 8 personal learning goals ensuring that the whole child is nurtured and developed. We are a nurturing school and have achieved the Nurturing Schools award due to our continued emphasis on well-being and mental health for staff and children.
We have high expectations and an inclusive approach to ensure all children meet their full potential. We hope that this website gives you a taste of life within our school and help you to discover more about us, the achievements of our children and the exciting opportunities we provide.
