We use the CUSP curriculum to support science, history, geography, DT & Art lessons.
Science: Everyday Materials
The uses of everyday objects and the importance of the material it is made from. We will look at careers that use this type of science speaking to a builder and architect.
Geography: Local Area Study (BD5)
Children will revisit and deepen understanding of human and physical features, using skills to observe features in their local area.
Design Technology - Children will apply their understanding of everyday materials to design and make a waterproof hat following an evaluation of their design.
Every Wednesday children will take part in Connect sessions. Our focus this half term is revisiting our DNA-V
This term we are covering Hands, Feet, Heart is a song written for children to celebrate and learn about South African Music!
Religious Education
Children will explore how new life is celebrated in Christian and Islamic faiths, through compare similarities and differences, through visitors and texts.
