July 20th 2025

Marshfield is proudly celebrating a glowing Outstanding rating in all areas following its recent Ofsted inspection – and the school community has captured the magic in a brand new film.

The short video, launched this week, puts the spotlight firmly on the voices of the pupils, who share what makes Marshfield such a special place to learn, grow and thrive. From a warm and nurturing environment to high-quality teaching and a strong sense of belonging, the film reflects the values, ambition and joy that shine through daily life at Marshfield.

The Ofsted report praised the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence, highlighting outstanding leadership, exceptional pupil outcomes and a culture where every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.

Head of School, Zara Kearns, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of our Ofsted inspection. It’s a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and passion of our staff, pupils and families. This film is our way of celebrating everything that makes Marshfield such a vibrant and caring school community – and hearing it through the voices of our children makes it even more special.”

Adrian Kneeshaw, Carlton Academy Trust CEO, added:  “This film beautifully captures the essence of what makes Marshfield outstanding – the pride, the positivity and the passion that runs through everything they do.”
