As a World Class School and proud member of Carlton Academy Trust, our commitment to ‘Excellence for All’ is at the heart of everything we do. In March 2025, Ofsted judged Marshfield ‘Outstanding’ in every area, recognising the high-quality education, care and opportunities our children receive.
We continue to go from strength to strength. Our latest 2026 results saw 91% of pupils achieve the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths at the end of Key Stage 2, with 88% achieving the expected standard across all three subjects combined. Strong outcomes begin from the very start of a child’s Marshfield journey, giving our youngest children excellent foundations for future learning.
Our success is recognised nationally too. In 2026, Marshfield was celebrated at the TES Schools Awards, receiving national recognition for our Early Years provision and school leadership. Our staff have also been recognised through the Pearson National Teaching Awards – a wonderful reflection of the talent, dedication and collective strength of the Marshfield team.
We know our children as individuals and are ambitious for every pupil, ensuring they receive the support, challenge and opportunities they need to thrive, whatever their starting point.
But the Marshfield Magic is about much more than results. We want every child to leave us confident, curious and ambitious, with experiences and memories that last a lifetime. Through Carlton Edge, pupils enjoy opportunities ranging from residential adventures in Whitby and Paris to sport, leadership, mentoring and making a real difference within their school and community.
We are proud to be at the heart of our community and equally proud of our nurturing and inclusive ethos. Children at Marshfield are happy, safe and valued. Our nurturing approach and strong pastoral care – together with Oscar, our much-loved therapy dog help create a school where every child feels they belong.
We also understand the demands of family life. Our wraparound care is available from 7:30am–6:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am – 3:00pm on Fridays, giving working parents and carers greater flexibility, while children enjoy high-quality care in the familiar surroundings of their school.
