Year 4 Voles' Good Work Assembly
Tue 21 Mar 2017Year 4 delivered a very mature and thoughtful Good Work Assembly this afternoon as they took Phase 2 back to old Bradford. We really enjoyed our cultural heritage being brought to life by our children. Well done Team Voles for an excellent presentation of your learning. Thanks also to the many parents and carers who braved the snow to attend. -
Brilliant 'Bake It' Exit Point Year 5!
Tue 21 Mar 2017Year 5 certainly pulled out all the stops for their IPC 'Bake It' Exit Point this afternoon. Children had designed, cooked and prepared: jam, butter, pizzas and bread. Sadly - I am going to miss the corridor outside my office filled with the aromas of homemade goodies. Very impressed also with the 'Bake Off' cake entries prepared with parents and carers. Such talented people we have working in partnership at Marshfield. Some super writing also on display presenting historical and geographical topics. Well done Team Year 5! -
Year 1 Squirrels' Good Work Assembly
Tue 21 Mar 2017Year 1 Squirrels showcased their learning spectacularly in assembly today. Not only did they use beautiful speaking voices to provide a tour of all their English and maths progress; they also presented an informative film to exhibit 'a day in their classroom.' I loved learning about France and your croissants were delicious! Well done to 'Team Squirrels' for all your hard work and enthusiasm and thank you to the many parents and carers for attending. -
World Book Day
Thu 02 Mar 2017A huge thank you and well done to all parents and carers for organising wonderful 'World Book Day' outfits. The children have enjoyed being fully immersed and engrossed in their class books. Can you recognise each book adopted by the different classes? Such a brilliant way to truly bring characters to life. Please see our live Twitter feed. We are most impressed that Michael Rosen and David Walliams ( amongst other famous authors! ) have been re-tweeting our tweets. How amazing is that? Mrs McDonald is the lady who made this all happen, so a well-deserved thank you to her too for her meticulous planning and organisation. Such a lovely day!
