Mother's Day Ball
Sat 19 Mar 2016A heartfelt thankyou Mrs Pandor, our Home School Liaison Officer for organising tonight's Mother's Day Ball. Most of our mums and a few dads enjoyed the delicious buffet to begin then boogied to Bollywood beats until the early evening. To close there was a Bollywood master class. What an absolutely lovely evening. Thanks also to the many staff who stayed late on a Friday night to ensure the evening was such a huge success. -
Fund-Raising Fantastic!
Fri 18 Mar 2016Thanks to our very own 'Sporting Superstar' MIss Bhambra and her 'Charity Team' we managed to raise over £1700 for Sport Relief. The pictures below illustrate the exciting activities planned for the whole school throughout the day. All classes were engaged in cross-curricular lessons based on Sport Relief. I was particularly impressed by the writing produced by year 6. My tummy aches every time I laugh thanks to the 'Holding The Plank' activity you all made me do during assembly. Well done to all the staff for keeping the treadmill and exercise bike running constantly between 8:30a.m. and 3:20p.m. Wow!
This success wouldn't have been at all possible without the hugely generous donations and sponsor money collected by parents and carers. We really appreciate all your help and support. Definitely my best day at Marshfield so far! Thankyou!
