Year 6
Welcome to our Year 6 webpage! This year, our class is inspired by two incredible figures: Stan Lee, the legendary comic book writer, and Amanda Gorman, the trailblazing poet. Both individuals have used their creativity and words to inspire generations, promoting messages of hope, justice, and imagination. Stan Lee taught us that heroes can come from the unlikeliest of places, while Amanda Gorman has shown the power of young voices in shaping a better future. Together, they represent courage, creativity, and a sense of social responsibility — qualities we hope to instil in our pupils.
On this page you will find key information relating to our classes, including links to websites to use for home learning. While you’re here, please take a moment to look at some of our fantastic work we have been doing; photos of school trips, visitors to school, special events, a residential trip and finally... SATs!Homework is given out each week, but we encourage your child to spend time on the following learning apps to consolidate what is taught in class. Their log-in information can be found in their planners.
